From Condemnation to Elevation: A Lesson in Divine Providence and Leadership

This moment serves as a powerful reminder to the younger generation of politicians and others aspiring to lead. The time has come to rise above campaigns of calumny, bitterness, and hatred. These tactics only sow division and destruction. Instead, let us pursue politics of ideas, unity, and development. Character assassination and insults do not build a future; integrity and service to the people do. True leadership is grounded in humility and the understanding that power is temporary—it is a responsibility entrusted by God to serve, not a platform to settle scores.

To our governor-elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo, we urge you to lead by example. Let your leadership reflect the grace you have received, showing kindness, fairness, and wisdom in every decision. Remember the story of King Saul in Scripture. He, too, was chosen by God, but when he allowed pride and disobedience to take root, he fell from grace. Never forget the humility that brought you here, and always seek God's guidance as you lead.
