"A New Breed Without Greed: Rising Against All Odds"

BY P. MICHAEL.

Text: John 12:24 – "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit."

Introduction: In every generation, God raises a remnant—men and women set apart, driven not by greed but by purpose. They are a new breed, marked by integrity, righteousness, and selflessness. Today, I want to speak to you about this new breed without greed that is rising in our time. These individuals refuse to be corrupted by the world's systems, and no matter how much opposition they face, they remain steadfast.

1. The Death of the Grain and the Multiplication of Purpose Our passage teaches us a profound truth: unless a grain of wheat dies, it remains alone, but if it dies, it bears much fruit. The death of one can ignite the rise of many. This principle is not just about physical death; it’s about sacrifice. Every person who sacrifices their comfort, security, and even their life for a greater cause sows seeds for a thousand others to rise. The world may try to suppress the righteous, but each time they attempt to kill the truth, they only sow it deeper into the hearts of the people.

2. Kill One, a Thousand Will Rise Throughout history, we’ve seen this reality: when one righteous voice is silenced, many more rise in its place. From the early church martyrs to modern-day heroes of justice, oppression has only strengthened the resolve of the righteous. The enemy believes that by silencing one, the movement will die, but God’s way is different. The death of one righteous man or woman only births a multitude.

Consider the lives of the apostles and how, after Jesus' crucifixion, they were emboldened to preach the gospel, even at the cost of their lives. The same spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in every believer, and that spirit cannot be quenched by death or persecution.

3. A New Breed Without Greed This new breed is rising, not with the ambition to enrich themselves but with a heart for justice, truth, and righteousness. They are driven by the love of God and the desire to see His kingdom come on earth. Greed has no place in their hearts because they understand that their true treasure is in heaven. They live for something greater than material wealth—they live for God's purpose.

In the book of Acts 20:24, Paul says, "But I count my life of no value to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of God's grace." This is the mindset of the new breed—life is not about personal gain but about fulfilling the divine mission.

4. Unstoppable Force: The Power of Purpose When purpose drives you, you become unstoppable. This new breed without greed understands that they are part of something larger than themselves. They are part of a divine plan, and no opposition, no persecution, no hardship can deter them. They are like a mighty army, and even if one is struck down, others will rise to carry the banner forward.

In Isaiah 54:17, the Word of God assures us, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper." This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and it is the guarantee for the new breed. They march forward, knowing that God is their defender, and their victory is assured.

Conclusion: Brothers and sisters, a new breed without greed is rising—unstoppable, unquenchable, and uncompromising. They are a reflection of the life of Christ, who gave His life as a seed that has borne the fruit of billions of believers. Even in the face of death, they will not be deterred, for they know that in their sacrifice, many more will rise.

So I charge you today: Be part of this new breed. Let go of greed, selfish ambition, and fear. Embrace the call of God on your life. Know that if you stand for truth and righteousness, even if the world seeks to silence you, your sacrifice will lead to the rise of many more.

May we all be counted among the new breed without greed. Amen.
