In a significant move to fulfilling his electioneering promises of improving the living conditions of his constituents, the Honorable member representing Orhionmwon Uhunmwode federal constituency at the 10th House of Representatives, Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Famous Osawaru has facilitated the installation of over 264 high-quality Solar powered street light to several communities in the twin local government of Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode which makes up the federal constituency.

 

Promise Kept; Over 264 Solar Powered Street Lights Facilitated By Hon. Osawaru Installed Across Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode Federal Constituency.

In a significant move to fulfilling his electioneering promises of improving the living conditions of his constituents, the Honorable member representing Orhionmwon Uhunmwode federal constituency at the 10th House of Representatives, Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Famous Osawaru has facilitated the installation of over 264 high-quality Solar powered street light to several communities in the twin local government of Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode which makes up the federal constituency. 

The installation, which has been ongoing for the past month, is now about 98% complete. Powered by renewable energy, benefitting communities are already enjoying the illuminations that the street lights bring. This has improved community nightlife and visibility, improved economic activities, and enhanced the security architecture of these communities.

In allocating these street lights, Hon. Chief Billy Osawaru and team took a study of the proposed communities, which informed the numbers distributed or allocated to a specific community. Designed to immediately become functional, the street lights have brought immense joy to indigenes and residents of communities in the 22 wards of the federal constituency affected by the street lights installation. They include;

Uhunmwode; 

* Ehor Town, Ugbeyaya, Uhi, irhue, and Igueduma ward.

* Others are Iduwuniye, ugbogun, ighion, and iguovbiobo, all in Umagbae North. 

* Eyaen, Idumwungha, and Evbuekoi Communities in Umagbae South, alongside the Izikhiri community in Isi South Ward and Evbueneyan in Ohuan Ward, benefited from the installed street lights. 

Orhionmwon:

* Communities in Igbanke West, Urhonigbe South, North, and Ugu wards. 

* Others are in Evboesi, Ukpato, Ugbeka, Iyoba, and Abiokunla Ward one, in the Orhionmwon Local Government area, all benefitted from the installed street lights. 

The commendation, prayers and appreciation that has thrailed this laudable gesture from the federal lawmaker by constituents has been unprecedented. Across the benefitting communities echoes eulogies and heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Adesuwa Osawaru for giving them a new lease of life and for his impactful representation.
