QUESTION CHRISTIANS KEEP ASKING. 

Pastor, why do ungodly people enjoy and seem blessed, yet Christians struggle to survive?" 

Simple, because the ungodly have no future with God, which literally means their end is destruction. Comparing an ungodly person with a believer is like comparing a child that has no future with a prince - who is an heir to the throne. While a prince must undergo strict discipline before he can be entrusted with the throne or emerge a leader, a child that has no future is free to do whatever he likes, yet the end is destruction. 

In worse cases, that which the futureless child seems to enjoy now may later become an inheritance for the king. 

It's not only the devil's attack that limits a Christian, the principles of the kingdom can also limit a Christian. As long as a Christian doesn't subject himself to the discipline of learning the ways of the kingdom, he may continue to struggle in life. Apostle Paul talked about this in Galatians chapter 4 when he said "Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; but is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the Father".

An ungodly person has no future with God, so he can do anything to survive, and he'd surely survive. But an heir cannot do just anything he likes, he has to follow kingdom principles everytime. This is why anytime a Christian tries to do things in an ungodly way, he ends up disappointed. 

Asaph, the Psalmist who wrote Psalm 73, confessed that seeing prosperity among wicked people brought him bitterness and envy, and nearly caused him to lose trust in God. Carefully considering God and His eternal truth led Asaph to a stronger faith. Asaph realized that although God allowed the ungodly to prosper, but their lives didn't have the needed divine security. Let's see how he wrote it in scriptures:

Psalm 73:

1 Truly, God is good to Israel, even to such as are clean in heart. 

2 But as for me, my feet had almost gone from under me; I was near to slipping; 

3 Because of my envy of the men of pride, when I saw the well-being of the wrongdoers. 

4 For they have no pain; their bodies are fat and strong. 

5 They are not in trouble as others are; they have no part in the unhappy fate of men. 

6 For this reason pride is round them like a chain; they are clothed with violent behaviour as with a robe. 

7 Their eyes are bursting with fat; they have more than their heart's desire. 

8 Their thoughts are deep with evil designs; their talk from their seats of power is of cruel acts. 

9 Their mouth goes up to heaven; their tongues go walking through the earth. 

10 For this reason they are full of bread; and water is ever flowing for them. 

11 And they say, How will the Lord see this? is there knowledge in the Most High? 

12 Truly, such are the sinners; they do well at all times, and their wealth is increased. 

13 As for me, I have made my heart clean to no purpose, washing my hands in righteousness; 

14 For I have been troubled all the day; every morning have I undergone punishment. 

15 If I would make clear what it is like, I would say, You are false to the generation of your children. 

16 When my thoughts were turned to see the reason of this, it was a weariness in my eyes; 

17 Till I went into God's holy place, and saw the end of the evil-doers. 

18 You put their feet where there was danger of slipping, so that they go down into destruction. 

19 How suddenly are they wasted! fears are the cause of their destruction. 

20 As a dream when one is awake, they are ended; they are like an image gone out of mind when sleep is over.

Look at that! I used the English Translation so I don't have to explain too much. Asaph realized that giving ungodly people access to prosperity was the easiest path to their destruction. The fears of losing their possession leads them to make moves that destroy them. God put their feet where there was danger of slipping, so that they go down into destruction. That's alot! Now that I think about it, there's nothing to envy about the prosperity of the ungodly. 

Having said that, there may be one thing Christians can learn from ungodly people, and that's their diligence. It's unfortunate that Christians are largely lazy, and I think it's because the subject of the anointing has been greatly miscommunicated. Adam was the very first anointed man, He was actually full of it, yet He was assigned to dress and keep the Garden. 

Adam did everything by the anointing, he was full of it. He could name animals without God needing to change the names, he could dominate the earth as God commanded, all because he was functioning in the fullness of the anointing - which is God's default design. God never designed man to depend on teachings from a school teacher, the design was for man to dominate by the fullness of the anointing. But because of sin, the operation of the anointing in man began to fade. Now man has to learn his way back up to a moment where he can operate in the fullness of the anointing. That's the only way he can truly have dominion over the earth. If you're still afraid of wild animals, then you should have an idea of what I mean. I've watched several clips of people who have wild animals as pets, and as much as I'd like to be surprised, that's actually an ability that man add by the anointing. The difference now is that these people have decoded the natural skill to put the wild under subjection. 

Learn! Learn! Learn everything that helps you understand God and this earth. The more you learn, the more you know about God, and the more likely you'd walk in the anointing. Even if you receive an infilling of the Holy Ghost today, it will go down if you don't learn the things that keep you full. This is one area of diligence believers need to take seriously, learning! The venom of a snake didn't affect Apostle Paul, the fiery furnace couldn't burn those three Hebrew boys, the hungry lion couldn't eat Daniel, what does these tell you? The subject cannot have dominion over it's master. I'd talk more on the anointing tomorrow.
