 "Edo Tribunal: PDP’s Hallucination, an Ejaculation Without Fertility"

The Edo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has become a theater of political delusion, with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) desperately clinging to a false hope of reclaiming power. Their obsession with the presentation of BVAS at the tribunal reeks of hallucination—loud, dramatic, but ultimately fruitless. While I sympathize with PDP’s candidate, Asue Ighodalo, it is crucial to state the obvious truth: when did merely presenting BVAS in court ever translate to victory?

The PDP seems to have conveniently forgotten the Supreme Court’s position on the use of BVAS in election disputes. Despite their claims of discrepancies, the reality remains that they were decisively defeated at the polls. No amount of legal theatrics can overturn the democratic will of Edo people.

I sincerely pity Asue Ighodalo because Governor Godwin Obaseki has abandoned him in a state of electoral barrenness—stranded, confused, and grasping at straws. At this point, he is merely a pawn in a political game, chasing shadows rather than facing reality.

While Asue is busy squandering either looted funds or his personal resources on this hopeless legal battle, the very godfather who pushed him into this mess is far away, enjoying himself in another man's land. The irony is painful, but it is the price of political miscalculation.

I understand their frustration, you cannot beat a child and expect them not to cry. But when a child wails at the mere sight of sweets or biscuits, hoping it will bring relief, you see nothing but desperation. PDP's cries of election rigging are nothing more than an emotional outburst, a last-ditch hope for a miracle that will never come.

My sincere advice to Asue is simple: accept reality and keep your money. Governor Monday Okpebholo will not only complete his first tenure but, God willing, contest for another. No amount of courtroom drama or wishful thinking will change that. The people of Edo have spoken, and PDP’s hallucination will not rewrite the outcome.
