"Official Statement: Confirmation of Nigeria Community General Meeting and Dissolution of Illegitimate Leadership under Chima Ibezim"

 Goodday distinguish Nigerians, honorable members of the Nigeria embassy in Rome and the Vatican, honorable members of NIDOE, honorable members of NUNAI, we the Nigeria community living in Rome Lazio and the Vatican wish to debunk the fake information sent to the general public by the claimed Nigeria community president Mr. Chima Ibezim, that the notice of the Nigeria community general meeting for the 30th of March 2025 signed by the Nigeria community public relation officer Mr. Clement Atalakpa Itua is fake, We are hereby confirming to you that the notice of the meeting is real and was organized and fixed by we the Nigeria community Rome Lazio and the Vatican and was sign and published by our public relation officer Mr. Clement Atalakpa Itua.

We want to use this opportunity to inform you of all the actual reasons why we decided to call for this physical general meeting and why we want to use that day to dissolve the acclaimed executives of Mr. Chima Ibezim, who has taken our community association as his family personal property. Most of you at the embassy, Nidoe and Nunai, can testify that Chima is fraudulent to the community and as well to his people. Even some of his executives in the persons of Mr. Dominic Uzoagba, Mr. Clement Atalakpa Itau and all his executives have left him due to his illegalities and fraudulent acts.

Chima fraudulent acts are a detriment to our community. Hence, we evaluated and considered the following reasons cogent enough to expel Chima from the Nigeria community and as well dissolve his acclaimed executive he selected by himself without confirmation.

1. Our Constitution permitted 4 years for a ternue, we all are aware that Chimas first 4 years has expired since 2019, and chima ascend to the same seat in 2019 without calling for general election, and since 2019 Chima Ibezim has been there without calling for physical general meeting instead he arranged his meetings online with his selected persons where he can manipulate everyone during seatings. 

2. When we talk about Chima being fraudulent, it might sound joking to some people, could you believe that after intervention that was conducted by the Nigeria Embassy, the funds realised, Chima has not given account of it, even the mother association Nunai can testify to this, the embassy can testify to this.

how many are we going to say and how many are we going to leave, One of our brothers by name Mr. Joseph Eko, who was recently deported to Nigeria, sent a voice message that has gone viral in the social media, this young man, when he was in the prison, he contacted Chima for house arrest, and chima charged him €1,500 which he gave to China through his friend called Usman, unfortunately, he was denied house arrest, he now told Chima to keep the money for him when he come out he will use it to start up again. This young man came out from prison, he met Chima in the church and Chima gave him 200 euro, and on another occasion, he gave him 100 euro making it a total of 300 euros out of 1,500 euros. 

When this boy was in deportation camp, he contacted Chima as the Nigeria community president and as well someone who is having his money to help him contact Nigeria embassy to see if they could help him stop his deportation but Chima ignored him because he sees it as the opportunity to close the money matter permanently.

We now ask, is a man with this kind of conduct eligible or qualified to be a president of a social club and talk more of a renowned community like Nigeria community? 

Based on these facts, we, the Nigeria community Rome / Lazio and the Vatican, decided and concluded to dissolve this illegal governance headed by Chima Ibezim and to expel him from the Nigeria community.

We also call on our honourable ambassador, Nigeria community Roma / Lazio, to please use his position to get the balance of 1.200 euro from Chima Ibezim to enable us to send it to our brother Mr. Joseph Eko, who is stranded in Nigeria (Lagos precisely).

Finally, the Nigeria community general meeting is programmed for 30th March 2025 and will still be held. What has changed is the venue, which is now Destiny bar via de borghesianna 187 roma will
