Benin City, Edo State – April 9, 2025 – In a historic move today, Hon. Oscar Aghedo, Apc party Chairman of Ovia North East Local Government Area, officially tendered his resignation to pursue a broader vision of service, aiming to positively impact both Ovia North East and Ovia South West regions.
The resignation was announced in a poignant gathering attended by all Ward Chairmen, Youth Leaders, and key party stakeholders. His leadership was celebrated, with heartfelt tributes from colleagues and supporters who acknowledged his unwavering dedication and transformative contributions to the party and community. Despite facing immense challenges, particularly during the period of strained leadership under former Governor Obaseki, Hon. Agendo stood firm, steering the party through turbulent times and maintaining unity within the Apc Ovia North East.
