2027: A COALITION IN COLLISION

 

That's the difference between the APC merger in 2013 and the "coalition of 2025". They don't understand that existing political structures are the ones to do the magic not those who are outside the structure with no foundation to build on.

In 2013, the then ACN came with about 7 governors, lots of senators and house of reps members, the ANPP bloc came with about 5 governors, lots of senators and House of Reps members, the CPC came with a governor and lawmakers of the national assembly. Same with a faction of APGA and DPP and formed a viable platform built on existing political structures. The current Gbajue coalition has a retinue of 'former this, former that' who have either lost out politically or have been brought out of political retirement with no immense political value. Since the day they muted the idea of a coalition, its a reversal of fortunes as more governors, lawmakers and other key figures who should have towed in the direction of the coalition have all joined the APC.

The merger of 2013 also saw key figures of the current APC hold clandestine meetings and never did we see any social media frenzy, they regulated what went out to the media while keeping everything important under wraps. Of course when you have reticent leaders like Tinubu and Buhari, you would hardly know where they would go next.

Not so for the Gbajue coalition of 2025, they are so social media crazy that they reveal everything to the media to give the impression that they are in a stronger position politically.

Have you seen a general announce all his moves and war plans to his enemies just to convince his own soldiers that he is ready to do battle with them?

By 2027, na the same private flight we go book for all of them to relocate with their Oga Atiku for permanent retirement in 2027 after their colossal election loss.
