EDO PARKS AGENCY JOINS GLOBAL CALL TO 'BEAT PLASTIC POLLUTION' AT WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY EVENT

 

 

To mark the celebration of World Environment Day, the Nigerian Environmental Society, Edo State Chapter, gathered at the University of Benin to commemorate the occasion under the theme: “Beat Plastic Pollution.”

In alignment with the core mandate of the Edo State Parks and Gardens Agency, the Managing Director, Pastor Stanley-Dave Ighodaro, attended the event alongside some staff members of the agency to join in the celebration.

In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of this year’s theme and shared insights into the plans the Agency and the Edo State Government have for improving environmental sustainability across the state.
