This significant milestone reflects your remarkable career, steadfast commitment to healthcare, and the loving support of your family, particularly your devoted husband, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu. Together, you have built a strong family rooted in shared values, and their support has undoubtedly contributed to your ability to achieve such extraordinary heights in your professional journey.


Your illustrious career at UBTH, spanning over 27 years, began as a Junior Registrar in 1997 and saw you rise to the esteemed position of Honorary Consultant in 2005. For more than eleven years, you led your department with integrity and vision, earning the admiration of colleagues and mentees. As a mentor, you have shaped generations of doctors, many of whom now thrive as consultants or practice in leading medical institutions worldwide. Your role as Dean of the School of Dentistry at the University of Benin showcased your exceptional leadership, as you drove transformative initiatives, secured public-private partnerships, and improved infrastructure and staff welfare. With over 55 publications in respected local and international journals, your scholarly work has advanced evidence-based healthcare and policy, cementing your reputation as a trailblazer.


As a globally trained Craniofacial Orthodontist, with specialised training at prestigious institutions like Oxford University Teaching Hospital and the University of Washington, Seattle, you bring unparalleled expertise and a global perspective to UBTH. Your appointment as Chief Medical Director marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the hospital. Your vision of patient-centred care, modernised facilities, expanded specialist services, and technology-driven solutions promises to elevate UBTH to a leading position in Nigeria’s healthcare landscape. Your emphasis on accountability, community outreach, and sustainable partnerships aligns seamlessly with the aspirations of Edo State and the nation.
