The University of Benin, through its Vice Chancellor, Professor Edoba B. Omoregie, SAN, has extended warm congratulations to Professor (Mrs.) Idia Nibokun Ize-Iyamu on her recent appointment as the first female Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).


In a heartfelt congratulatory letter, Professor Omoregie applauded Professor Ize-Iyamu’s distinguished track record as a foremost craniofacial orthodontist and her exemplary contributions in both academics and clinical medical practice. He acknowledged her tenure as Dean of the School of Dentistry at the University of Benin, highlighting her dedication to nurturing a new generation of experts who will make significant impacts both locally and nationally.
