Hon. Chief Billy Osawaru’s Legislative Contributions And National Impact To Be Immortalized In Abuja Street Naming

It is a recognition of his legacy of impact, his trailblazing effort at instilling institutional reforms, his legislative finesse, and visibility, patriotism and continuous advocacy for a better Nigerian that the Abuja Municipal Area Council extended the honour of naming a street after the Honourable member representing the good people of Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Adesuwa Osawaru.

In the nomination letter attached herein, the offer was made to the proud Benin Chief, among other eminent Nigerians, based on personal merit and an outstanding contribution to society and the National economy, therefore, the Abuja Municipal Area Council deemed it necessary to honour these selfless leaders and immortalize their patriotic efforts at nation-building.

This is particularly noteworthy and impressive considering that Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Adesuwa Osawaru is a first-time legislator at the National Assembly. In just two years, the federal lawmaker's smart work and contributions on the hallowed floor of the green chambers of the National Assembly have placed him among the top 20 influential lawmakers in the House.

Hence, those who see contributions and excellent servitude from an unbiased prism, lack of political colouration, unblighted interest, and from a developmental perspective have continued to recognize and appreciate the trailblazing efforts of Hon. Chief Dr Billy Adesuwa Famous Osawaru through the plethora of awards, honours, and recognition that have trailed his representation.
