Independence Day Message From Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Osawaru, Member Representing Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode Federal Constituency, HoR, Abuja.

 

Fellow Nigerians, 

On this auspicious Independence Day, I extend heartfelt congratulations to the good people of Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode federal Constituency, the entire Edo State, and Nigerians across the federation. 

Our nation’s journey since 1960 has been one of trials and triumphs, but through the resilience and unity of our people, we have continued to move forward with hope for a brighter future.

As your representative, I remain deeply committed to ensuring that the dividends of democracy are felt by every constituent, especially at the grassroots where development matters most. Working in synergy with the state and federal government, I will continue to advocate policies, interventions, and projects that uplift lives, empower communities, and foster sustainable growth across Edo State and beyond.

I urge all arms of government—executive, legislative, and judiciary—to strengthen their resolve in delivering true democratic values to our people. Nigeria is in urgent need of renewed patriotism, transparency, and people-centered governance. Together, with unity of purpose, we shall overcome our present challenges and build the prosperous nation we all desire.
