365 DAYS OF TRANSFORMATIVE LEADERSHIP: GREENING EDO STATE FOR THE FUTURE.

As we mark 365 days of visionary leadership under His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo, the Governor of Edo State, we celebrate one of the administration’s most remarkable achievements — the bold steps toward building a greener, healthier, and more sustainable Edo.

Over the past year, the state government has demonstrated a strong commitment to urban renewal through the development of parks and green spaces, reclaiming neglected areas and transforming them into vibrant community hubs where families, youths, and visitors can connect with nature.

Under the Governor’s guidance, projects such as Prestige Park, now known as IHAMA park and Gapiona Park and expert vegetation control across key locations in the state, have come to life — shining examples of how thoughtful urban design can promote community life, tourism, and environmental sustainability.

These parks and vegetation control are not just beautification projects; they are part of a broader vision to make Edo State a model for green living, youth engagement, and eco-friendly tourism. Through these initiatives, the government continues to champion cleaner cities, healthier lifestyles, and spaces that reflect the pride and identity of the Edo people.

As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to even greater progress — building on a foundation of innovation, sustainability, and shared prosperity for all.
