President Tinubu Appoints Governor Uzodimma as Renewed Hope Ambassador




At the national launch of the Federal Government’s Ward Development Programme, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced the appointment of Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State as the Renewed Hope Ambassador.


In this role, Governor Uzodimma will also serve as the Director-General for Party Outreach, Engagement, and Mobilisation, working closely with the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and governors across the federation.


Key Responsibilities of Governor Uzodimma


As the newly appointed Renewed Hope Ambassador, Governor Uzodimma—who also chairs the Progressive Governors’ Forum—is expected to:


Coordinate and promote strategic harmony within all structures of the APC.


Lead outreach, mobilisation, and engagement efforts nationwide.


Work with APC governors as co-Ambassadors of Hope to spread the administration’s message.


Drive public awareness of the Tinubu administration’s achievements and programmes since 2023.


President Tinubu emphasized that the role is to reinforce the message of Renewed Hope across Nigeria, ensuring that citizens understand the progress already recorded by the government.

Inflation, once a major challenge, has eased for seven consecutive months, dropping to 16.05% in October 2025.

The government’s liberalised educational loan policy has successfully enrolled over 700,000 students, expanding access to higher education.


Nigerians can now obtain their international passports within just two weeks, ending years of delay in passport processing
