WHO DO WE SEND AND WHO WILL GO FOR US AS MEMBER, EDO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY, CONSTITUENCY II, ESAN NORTH EAST LGA ?

 

Part-1

*It is obvious that the HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY of any state in Nigeria, is a very SENSITIVE INSTITUTION. It is neither for self aggrandisement, egoism or youthful exuberance. It is INDISPENSABLE to the progress and smooth operations of any state government, by the current position of our constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as ammended)*. 

*_We can not afford to sacrifice meritocracy on the alter of political nepotism, mendacity or prebendalism_*

*Such an aspirant fit and proper to be a member of Edo State House of Assembly, must not be contemplated of having DUAL LOYALTY*. 

Our hallow chamber is for matured minds who are more concerned about the developmental needs of our constituency rather than youthful exuberance, egoism or self aggrandisement. 

He should be an ASSET to the party APC and not a LIABILITY. The greatest investment you can give to your party is to have the CAPACITY to win elections both in your polling units, in your community and in your Ward. Any investments that does not TRANSLATE to being able to WIN YOUR WARD for the party, is a hocus pocus or BRUTUM FULMEN (an exercise in futility). 

DR. MIKE EIGBEMEKHE ranks high in this regard, having NEVER LOST any level of elections in his polling units, communities or Ward. It is also worthy of note that he was a MAJOR FACTOR in the APC’s victory in Ward 6 in the 2024 governorship election of SENATOR MONDAY OKPEBHOLO, having worked for both the party APC and his Excellency, SENATOR MONDAY OKPEBHOLO. 

*Not to deliver votes and win your Ward for APC and SENATOR MONDAY OKPEBHOLO during the governorship election yet contemplate reaping a political office, to the DETRIMENT and MOCKERY of the Ward that gave winning votes, is the height of SOCIAL INJUSTICE*.

Since Edo state is a MULTILINGUAL state, with DIFFERENT TONGUES and LANGUAGES, such a House of Assembly member must possess a high academics erudition and elocutionary potency. He must be able to express himself fluently in English, with utmost of PRECISION and LUCIDITY.
