FRESH TWIST OF POLITICAL TRANSMOGRIFICATION IN ESAN NORTH EAST LGA

 

We are at a critical point in our political history of of Edo state, when the enormity of the blessings that his Excellency, Senator Monday OKPEBHOLO administration has become, can not be treated with LEVITY or be sacrificed on the bases of political sentiment for a candidate of an UNPREDICTABLE LOYALTY OR DEPENDABILITY, ECCENTRICITY, RAPACITY, EXUBERANCE OR DUAL LOYALTY. 

It was not just a declaration of interest but a carnival and a celebration of victory as both LEADERS and EXECUTIVES spoke, one after the another during the LGA declaration of Dr. Mike Eigbemekhe, on the 18th of April, 2026, at the APC Secretariat, Uromi. It was a celebration of the right of the masses that was defeated temporarily. It was a RESURGENCE OF HOPE, VICTORY AND THE PREVALENCE OF EQUITY AND FAIRNESS.

         No wonder that history remembers - *Martin Luther King Jr. Who once said: “I believe that unarmed TRUTH and unconditional love will have the FINAL WORD... right TEMPORARILY defeated is STRONGER than evil triumphant.*”

"victory of evil over good is only but temporal” points to Dele Giwa. The man that believes in the dignity of conscience. 

Delivery his speech, DR. MIKE EIGBEMEKHE (the incoming Edo State House of Assembly member, Constituency ll, Esan North East LGA) said that his manifestos is subsumed by the programme of action of his Excellency, Senator Monday OKPEBHOLO. Also that his programs of action is inextricably connected to the RENEWED HOPE AGENDA of ASIWAJU. 

Based on this, he is only going to support the actualization of the vision of his Excellency, Senator Monday OKPEBHOLO, to improved security, education, transportation, health, agriculture, environmental, infrastructure etc ; all of which are already palpable. 

Senator Monday OKPEBHOLO is set on a mission to RESTORE our WASTED years. All of which can not be achieved by SENTIMENTS or SECTIONALISM but by a deliberate choice for a FIT~ and~ PROPER person that will work INDEFATIGABLY to uphold the programs of action of his Excellency and also propagate the RENEWED AGENDA. 

There is no substitute for truth. There is no middle way for justice. CAPACITY, DEDICATION , LOYALTY TO THE GOVERNOR, SINCERITY OF PURPOSE were all CRITICALLY X-RAYED and DR. MIKE EIGBEMEKHE'S CREDENTIALS were unequalled. 

He ended by thanking the leaders for standing up for EQUITY, FAIRNESS and EGALITARIANISM, which are the cardinal objectives of our great party APC and the requirements of his Excellency. 

He said that when elected, his Excellency shall NEVER BE DISTRACTED from his focus on developmental projects. In his words, "*This is a government of the people and for masses. Thus every masses-welfare oriented programs from his Excellency, will be GREETED WITH TAKE YOUR BOW AND GO"*.
