FURTHER CONSULTATIONS, DEEPER ALIGNMENTS AND SHARED VISION: MY CONTINUED ENGAGEMENT WITH EDO SOUTH LEADERS.
In continuation of my commitment to inclusive leadership, purposeful dialogue, and strategic consultation, I undertook a senatorial visit to further engage with leaders and critical stakeholders of our great district.
This visit was not merely political—it was deliberate, reflective, and anchored on the need to deepen existing conversations as we collectively shape the future of Edo South ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle.
During this phase of consultation, Under the able leadership of H.E Rt. Hon. Pius Odubu, I met with respected leaders and party stalwarts, whose voices remain vital in guiding the direction of our people.
These engagements provided an opportunity to listen more intently, to understand evolving concerns, and to refine a shared vision for effective representation at the National Assembly.
Our discussions were robust and sincere. We examined the current realities within Edo South, the gaps in representation, and the urgent necessity for a more coordinated legislative approach that translates into visible development across all local governments.
There was a strong consensus that our district must move beyond rhetoric to results-driven representation—one that prioritizes infrastructure, youth empowerment, economic opportunities, and equitable distribution of federal presence.
I reiterated that my aspiration to serve in the Senate is rooted in responsibility, not ambition. It is driven by a clear understanding that Edo South must take its rightful place within the national framework through strategic advocacy, strong legislative participation, and deliberate attraction of federal resources.
In the course of these consultations, I also emphasized the importance of synergy between state and federal leadership. Sustainable development can only be achieved when both levels of governance operate in alignment.
My commitment remains to ensure that Edo South benefits maximally from such coordination, particularly in areas of infrastructure, agriculture, education, and economic expansion.
What stood out during this visit was the renewed spirit of unity and shared purpose among our leaders. There is a growing recognition that the time has come for cohesive action, strengthened structures, and a collective resolve to advance the interests of our people above all else.
The encouragement, insights, and reaffirmation of support received during this engagement further reinforce my belief that Edo South is ready—ready for strategic leadership, ready for inclusive representation, and ready for a future defined by tangible progress.
Consultation continues.
Alignment is strengthening.
The pathway to purposeful representation is becoming clearer.
