Terry Igiebor: The Tales of the Few Who Stood :..As told by a founding Leader of the APC_

After the 2020 gubernatorial defeat, the APC in Edo State was left in ruins. Many abandoned ship, fraternizing with the PDP by day while quietly holding an APC card by night. But a faithful few refused to walk away.

We went back to the drawing board. We rebuilt from the ground up, contributing our time, our resources, and our energy to keep the party alive and attractive, even while others had lost all hope. We were so committed that even members of Obaseki’s government took notice of what we were doing for our people.

Then came 2024. Again, we staked everything, our finances, our comfort, our time working day and night to return APC to power. Many of those who today boast of billions to spend on primaries were the same people busy romancing the Obaseki-led government when APC was on its knees, not a kobo contributed, not a day sacrificed for this party.

Today, APC is the beautiful bride everyone wants to dance with. Candidates are lining up to contest under its platform. But let it never be forgotten, when this party had nothing, a few loyal men and women gave it everything.

Among those few stands *Ambassador Terry Igiebor* a man who never wavered. When the party was bleeding, he gave his time. When the coffers were empty, he gave his finances. When others gave excuses, he gave commitment. He was on the ground, in the trenches, doing the quiet and costly work of resurrection that brought APC to where it stands today.

It is therefore only right, proper, and just that Amb. Terry Igiebor be accorded the option of first refusal. He has earned it, not by mere association, but by sacrifice. His loyalty has been tested, proven, and trusted.

The glory belongs to those who stayed, and he was one of them.
