Tomorrow, June 21st, heaven will smile again on the day it gave Edo a son whose life blends the altar, the boardroom, and the trenches of political service.

We, the Concern Edo State APC Stakeholders, write this not just as a birthday message, but as a “heart warning” — a warning to despair that you refuse to let it settle in our land. A warning to division that your voice still calls us back to unity. A warning to those who think Edo has forgotten courage, because your life keeps reminding us what conviction looks like.

You are more than a pastor. More than a lawyer. More than a political strategist. You are a compass. In seasons when the politics of our state felt like storms, your steady hands held the tiller. You taught us that power without purpose is noise, and that leadership without God is empty. 

From the pulpit to the political field, you’ve carried Edo’s burden like a shepherd carries his flock — not for applause, but because you truly care. Your sacrifices, your resilience through trials, and your unshaken belief in a greater Edo have become the moral anchor for many of us who stayed in the fight when others walked away.

Pastor Ize-Iyamu, on your birthday we don’t just celebrate the years added to your life. We celebrate the lives added to your years. The young men and women you mentored. The homes you prayed for. The communities you stood with. The APC family you helped keep alive through every season.

As you mark another year, our prayer is simple: May God renew your strength like the eagle’s. May your wisdom keep multiplying. May your household — with Prof. Mrs. Idia Ize-Iyamu by your side — continue to be a model of grace, service, and excellence. And may Edo, the state you love so deeply, rise to meet the vision you’ve always painted for it.

The work is not finished. The mandate is not exhausted. And as long as men and women of conscience like you are still standing, Edo’s best days are not behind us — they are ahead.
