Hon. Billy Osawaru, member representing Orhionmwon/Uhumwode Federal Constituency at the National Assembly and APC flag bearer for the 2027 election, has laid a foundation of altruistic leadership during his first tenure. Stakeholders believe this foundation will be fully consolidated if he is re-elected for a second term in 2027.

Altruistic leadership emphasizes service before self, putting constituents’ welfare above personal gain. Ambassador Charles Eghaghe, MD of Egmenovic Investment Nigeria Ltd and CEO of Bridge Builders Career Foundation, noted today in his office in Benin City that Hon. Osawaru’s first tenure was marked by people-centered representation. Key hallmarks include direct community engagement, youth empowerment programs, support for small businesses, and priority attention to education and healthcare needs across Orhionmwon/Uhumwode.

The Consolidation Expected in Second Tenure (2027). 

According to Eghaghe, a second tenure will allow Hon. Osawaru to build on structures already established. The continuity of leadership is expected to deepen impact in three areas:
