AREWA CHRISTIANS IN EDO DECLARE UNWAVERING SUPPORT FOR HON. CHIEF DR. BILLY OSAWARU’S RE-ELECTION, CITE PERFORMANCE, CONSTITUENCY PROJECTS AND EMPOWERMENT AS BASIS FOR CONTINUITY
Arewa Christians Declare Support for Hon. Osawaru’s Re-election.

The Arewa Christians, an ethno-religious association comprising Christians from Northern Nigeria residing in Edo State, have declared their unflinching support for the re-election of Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Adesuwa Osawaru, member representing the good people of Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
The group, with members domiciled in Edo State and within Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode Federal Constituency, said its decision was informed by what it described as Hon. Osawaru’s performance in the National Assembly, particularly his legislative advocacy, constituency interventions and empowerment initiatives.
According to the group, Hon. Osawaru’s interventions across the constituency have contributed to addressing some of the needs of residents, while his legislative activities have continued to attract attention beyond the constituency. The group consequently called for continuity to enable him to consolidate ongoing initiatives and pursue additional interventions.
The Arewa Christians further pledged to mobilise their members, families and wider networks across Edo State, particularly within Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode, in support of Hon. Osawaru’s re-election bid.
Responding, the proud Benin Chief thanked the leadership and members of the association for the expression of confidence in his representation. He highlighted some of his completed and ongoing constituency projects, as well as initiatives already captured for future implementation.
The lawmaker said continuity would provide an opportunity to consolidate existing interventions and advance projects and programmes already in the pipeline, while reiterating his commitment to representing the interests of constituents.
As more groups and organizations continue to support the candidacy of Hon. Osawaru, the journey to the Consolidation mandate is massively gaining traction.
