Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Adesuwa Osawaru Empowers His Constituents To Mark His 1st Anniversary As a Federal Lawmaker

In a testament to his legislative and representational excellence, the honorable member representing the good people of Orhionmwon Uhunmwode federal constituency, Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Adesuwa Osawaru, hosted a significant empowerment initiative on Monday, September 9th, 2024, aimed at supporting members of his constituency. 

This program, though his zonal intervention program, came at a time when the people needed to rallied ahead of the forthcoming off-cycle Edo 2024 election, bolstering their hopes, confidence, and belief in the All Progressives Congress as a Party and also its Governorship candidate, Sen. Monday Okpebholo. 

The empowerment program, which was a two-fold event, commenced with a town hall meeting where the proud Benin Chief briefed his constituents about his achievements in the last year in office and climaxed with the empowerment program at his federal constituency office, Iguovbiobo, Uhunmwode. The event also underscored Hon. Osawaru's unwavering connection to his constituency. Known for his consistent legislative vibrancy, effective representation, and hands-on involvement in the progress of Edo State, Hon. Osawaru’s Zonal Intervention and Constituency Engagement Programs have continued to make meaningful impacts on the lives of his people.

The highlight of this empowerment initiative included the distribution of a number of Tricycles, large generators, grinding machines, Sewing machines, Water pumping machines, bags of fertilizers, and lots more.

These effort reflects Hon. Chief Dr. Osawaru's commitment to creating sustainable opportunities for his constituents enabling them to engage in productive ventures that will improve their livelihoods guaranteeing a sustainable future. 

This empowerment program have further demonstrated Hon. Chief Dr. Osawaru’s dedication to fulfilling his campaign promises to his people, is helping to solidify- the APC’s drive for progress and development in Edo State. As the region looks forward to the upcoming elections, his continuous efforts stand as a testament to the prosperity that lies ahead under the leadership of an APC-led Government in which Sen. Monday Okpebholo stands as a true Progressivist.
