Edo State Governor-Elect,

Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo And 

Deputy Governor-Elect,

Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa.

On behalf of my immediate family, Political Associates, Team Billy, and the good people of Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode federal constituency, I am elated to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo and your deputy, Hon. Dennis Idahosa on your resounding victory as Governor and Deputy Governor-Elect of Edo State, respectively. 

Your victory at the just concluded but keenly contested, free, and fair September 21st Edo Gubernatorial election is truly divinely ordained; hence, we give God Almighty all the glory for a hitch-free electoral process. It is also consequent to the massive acceptance and goodwill the both of you have enjoyed over the years from the politically savvy people of Edo State, a testament to your unwavering dedication to community service, a reflection of your resilience, and commitment to the progress of the Edo people and our dear State.

This triumph is not just a personal achievement, but a collective victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the good people of Edo State. It marks the dawn of the redemption of the Edo Nation from political retardation and developmental retrogression and, indeed, a progressive renaissance.

I am very confident that with the combination of the innate exceptional leadership qualities of both of you, your managerial acumen, political, bureaucratic, and administrative savviness coupled with your passion for selfless service, and the tested will to do good, Edo will surely be repositioned for Greatness.

As we step into the new phase of our political trajectory in Edo State under the leadership of your esteemed duo, I look forward to working closely with you in our collective quest to deliver the dividends of democracy to Edo People. Also, as a representative of the people, I am not unaware of their huge expectations. Having freely given their votes, I urge you both to truly prioritize their welfare in your government, as you have always done.
