It’s always refreshing when people hide behind anonymity to hurl accusations without taking responsibility for their words. I must commend you on your apparent confidence—if only it was enough to inspire you to sign your name proudly to such a "well-thought-out" response.

First, I noticed how much effort you’ve put into trying to paint a false narrative of Chief Osawaru’s conduct, as though pulling numbers like “7.8 million” out of thin air will suddenly make your story credible. You claim that Chief Osawaru "diverted" election funds and that his ward lost because of this—yet, you fail to offer any tangible evidence to back up this claim. It’s almost as if the story was crafted for dramatic effect, without any basis in fact. If you’d taken the time to investigate the real issues (which you falsely accuse me of failing to do), you might have realized how flawed your narrative really is.

Moving on, you mentioned the palliative rice from the federal government. Another creative yet factually inaccurate story (_*find attached a video where leaders of the ward including festus Aimienrovbiye acknowledged that Chief Billy Osawaru shared the rice appropriately amongst all the units of the ward*_). If Chief Osawaru had actually misused resources meant for his people, I wonder why these claims only appear in conveniently anonymous messages like yours and not in any verifiable complaints by the people he supposedly shortchanged, For a man who has consistently put the needs of his constituents first—through developmental projects, medical outreaches, and infrastructural interventions—this accusation falls flat, even by your low standards.

Your third point, which seems to suggest that Chief Osawaru has single-handedly rendered the ward chairman "useless" by assuming control of decision-making, is perhaps the most comical of all. A man like Chief Osawaru, whose leadership and representation have been transparent, would hardly need to “act” the role of any chairman. He was elected to serve the people (Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode), and he’s done so remarkably. If anything, the sheer amount of work he has done for the ward speaks volumes about his leadership. So, I understand if someone is finding it hard to adjust to a leader who actually gets things done, rather than just talk about them.

Now, you claim that Chief Osawaru is a "sole decision-maker," yet again, without providing any concrete examples. Perhaps it might interest you to know that Chief Osawaru regularly consults with leaders and stakeholders across his ward as evidence by the support he has gotten from more than 2/3rd of his ward executive members and the leaders of the ward even in the face of a purported illegal suspension. If your so-called ward leaders have suddenly lost relevance, maybe the issue isn’t with Chief Osawaru but with their inability to stay relevant in a rapidly changing political landscape.

As for the analogy you tried to draw with Governor Obaseki, it was a nice attempt—though a bit too stretched. Comparing Chief Osawaru to Governor Obaseki is quite amusing, given that their styles of leadership are worlds apart. Perhaps, before you go throwing out more strained comparisons, you should take the time to understand the facts behind his distinct approach to leadership.

You attempted to bring in a personal angle by dragging my father into this discussion—another desperate move. I would have expected better from someone claiming to "come to equity with clean hands," but it seems you’ve chosen the path of mudslinging. Whatever disputes arose at the time, I believe were resolved with proper decorum, unlike this feeble attempt at character assassination.

Lastly, I find it laughable that you believe the phrase "ATM machine" to be one of blackmail or betrayal. Perhaps the truth is simply inconvenient for you. Chief Osawaru was never put into power to become a cash cow for those looking for personal gain. He was elected to serve the people, and his track record proves that he has done just that. If anyone feels otherwise, maybe the issue lies in unfulfilled personal expectations rather than his service to the people.

In conclusion, it's unfortunate that you’ve resorted to hiding behind anonymity to spew half-truths and insinuations. If your argument had any merit, you’d have no need to hide your identity.
