Edo CAGraM Commends The Composition Of The APC's Transition And Inauguration Planning Committees, Says It's Inclusivity Is Noteworthy And Laudable.

_...Urge the outgoing PDP government to play by the rules, as the collective interest of the State should trump self-serving agendas._ 

As the heartbeat of the Nation gears up for the transition of power from the outgoing government of Gov. Godwin Obaseki to the incoming, promising, and refreshing government of Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Leadership and members of the Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGraM) Edo State Chapter led by Dr. Andrew Omosefe has taken note of the commendable moves of the party in the build-up to the November 12th Inauguration. 

Edo CAGraM notes with satisfaction the right boxes that the Governor-Elect and the party leadership have been ticking, the progressive inputs and the glimpse of an inclusive, youthful, and gender-friendly government that Senator Monday Okpebholo will lead is visible from the composition of members of the transition committee and the inauguration planning committee. 

The caliber of personalities in both committees headed by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Pius Egberanmwan Odubu and Major Gen. Cecil Esekhaigbe (Rtd), respectively, are particularly noteworthy as it is a perfect blend of experience, technocratic expertise, seasoned bureaucrats, astute political tacticians, and administrators. CAGraM is confident that these committees will preside over a seamless transition of power and a hitch-free inauguration ceremony. 

However, Edo CAGraM is disillusioned by the news of the alleged hoarding of information and the blockage of access by the outgoing government transition committee set up to interface with that set up by the Governor-elect and the APC. With electioneering politicking over, the task of moving the State forward is a collective one. 

CAGraM urges Gov. Obaseki and PDP transition counterparts to ensure the committees are aided to do a thorough job as government, irrespective of party difference, is a continuum. 

As the countdown to the start of the new administration continues, Edo CAGraM wishes to reiterate its unwavering commitment, dedication, and support for the APC and the Governor and Deputy Governor-Elect,  Senator Monday Okpebholo and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa MODEN). CAGraM looks ahead with optimism towards contributing its quota to the success of the transformational government that MODEN will offer the good people of Edo State.
