Happy 2024 International Men's Day

International Men's Day is a yearly global observance that celebrates the positive contributions and achievements of men while addressing important issues surrounding their impact, health, gender equality, and contribution to family and nation-building. 

The theme for this year's celebration, "Positive Male Role Models," emphasizes the need for a more honest and robust conversation around men's mental health issues and the creation of safe, encouraging conditions for men to flourish given the increased awareness of these issues. The theme is aptly timely, especially with the prevailing global economic downturn, particularly the increasing pressure it mounts on responsible men who till and grind to make ends meet for their families in our Nation, State, and federal Constituency. 

Today, I celebrate our hard work and resilience amid daunting challenges, the love and support, and our contribution towards making the world a better place. As positive role models, we must inspire a culture of love for family cohesion, patriotism, integrity, and dignity in all dealings. 

As we celebrate, I urge us all to be mindful of our health and prioritize it through routine basic medical checkups. I am committed as a people's representative to contributing my quota to the Health and well-being of my constituents through quality bills and motions, empowerment opportunities, and the sustenance of my periodic free medical outreaches, which thousands of men have already benefited from. 

May our strength, and compassion continue to inspire those around us to meet and exceed our expectations.
