EDO STATE PARKS AND GARDENS AGENCY EMBARKS ON FACILITY TOUR OF MOWAA

As part of its commitment to advancing environmental aesthetics through cultural integration, the Edo State Parks and Gardens Agency, under the leadership of its Managing Director, Pastor Stanley-Dave Ighodaro, conducted a facility tour of the Museum of West African Art (MOWAA) in Benin City.

The visit offered the agency a firsthand experience of MOWAA’s rich display of West African heritage, architectural excellence, and artistic expression. From curated collections to the museum’s serene and culturally inspired environment, the tour provided valuable inspiration relevant to the agency’s beautification and public space design initiatives.

According to Pastor Dave, the purpose of the visit was to deepen the agency’s understanding of how art, culture, and nature can intersect to create public spaces that are not only beautiful but meaningful.
