Trailblazing Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Osawaru, member representing the good people of Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode federal constituency at the House of Representatives and Chairman of the House Committee on Cooperation and Integration in Africa in the spotlight, placing his federal constituency in the global limelight...

At the just concluded commemorative ceremony, Hon. Osawaru, with the full complement of his Legislative Committee stole the show, synergized, and made inroads for greater partnership with the sub-continental organization.

Hon. Billy Adesuwa Osawaru pictured with the only surviving Head of State at the establishment of ECOWAS in 1975, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, Rtd, GCFR, a distinguished octogenarian and well-respected Statesman. Also, he was captured with the Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Maitaima Tugger, the deputy chairman of the committee on cooperation and integration in Africa, and a cross-section of special guests at the event.

It was a celebration of 50 years of regional unity, peace, and economic cooperation with the hopes of improved multilateral relationships for the growth of West Africa
