HON. OSAWARU REAFFIRMS MANDATE WITH HOPE, IMPACT, AND UNWAVERING COMMITMENT TO SERVICE

Hon. Osawaru’s Mid-Term Message of Hope and Renewed Commitment to Impactful Service

To my esteemed constituents of Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode Federal Constituency,

I am deeply humbled and grateful for the trust and confidence you have placed in me to serve as your representative. While I may not have been the most connected or the most brilliant, I firmly believe that divine providence and God’s perfect timing have guided me to this role, and I won't take it for granted.

From the onset, I pledged to work diligently and selflessly on your behalf. That commitment remains unwavering. As I reach the mid-point of my tenure, I reaffirm my dedication to the promises I made. Over the next two years, I will keep my hands firmly on the plough, delivering more tangible empowerment and essential support to our people.

In just a month or two, my team and I,  will carry out what I believe will be the largest empowerment initiative in recent times. One designed to uplift lives and respond directly to community needs. With many completed projects ready for commissioning, I pledge to see that the ongoing ones are completed while upcoming initiatives are kick-started. Some of the upcoming initiatives include;

Mobile Clinic: A fully equipped mobile clinic staffed with qualified medical professionals will soon begin operations, bringing essential healthcare services right to your doorsteps.

Ehor Fruit Juice Project: The Ehor Fruit Juice initiative remains a key area of focus and will be addressed soon as part of our efforts to stimulate local enterprise and economic growth.

College of Forestry, Sakponba; I will soon lay a petition concerning the closure of the College of Forestry, Sokponba, Edo State and push for a committee to be set up to investigate and recommend a way forward.

Legislative Focus;

I am pleased with the progress all the bills and motions I have sponsored and moved are making on the floor of the Green Chambers. I am committed to Continuous lobbying and leveraging the influence I have garnered in the last two years to attract more dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of my constituents.

Specifically, The bill for an act to establish the Ehor Medical Center, Uhunmwode, has passed its Second Reading. This marks significant progress, and I remain committed to seeing it through. Also, the Federal College of Complimentary and Alternative Medicine Establishment Bill has passed the second reading. Interestingly, the bill for an act to establish the Federal College of Agriculture, Urhonigbe is at the final stage of the Lawmaking process. I remain optimistic about its final passage and accent.

I am determined to rank among the most productive lawmakers in the House, with a strong track record of motions and bills that reflect our collective interests. Transparency and accountability are foundational to my service. I will be convening a town hall meeting soon to present a comprehensive dossier of my stewardship, share updates, and engage directly with you on our progress and future plans.

A Call for Unity and Constructive Support;

This journey is one of learning and service. If I make mistakes or fall short in any way, I ask that you not dismiss my efforts or criticize me harshly. Instead, reach out, offer correction, share insight, and be part of the solution. I am human, and I am growing. With your feedback and guidance, I will serve you even better.

Collaborating with the Governor; I am excited about the synergy with our proactive and responsive Governor, His Excellency, Sen. Monday Okpebholo. Together, we will continue working to make Edo State and our federal our constituency, a safer, stronger, and more prosperous place for all.

In closing, I want to assure you that I remain fully committed to delivering real impact. Actions speak louder than words, and I intend to let my actions speak for me. Thank you for your continued support and trust. Let us keep moving forward together towards a brighter and more hopeful future.

God bless you all.
