STRUCTURE: THE INVISIBLE PILLAR THAT CARRIES YOUR VISION

Beloved, one reason many destinies collapse under the weight of life’s storms is not because the vision was weak, but because the structure beneath it was absent or faulty.

In Ezekiel 37:7, the Bible says, “So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.” Before the breath of life entered the dry bones, structure had to come together first. Without structure, there can be no life, no movement, no fulfillment.

God is a God of order. In Genesis 1:3, “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” Light became the first structure upon which every other creation rested. Without the structure of light, there would have been no visibility for creation to thrive.

Likewise, your faith is the spiritual structure that anchors your conviction in God — “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1). Faith is invisible but it produces visible results when laid on a solid structure of hearing and understanding God’s word — “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)

Jesus understood the power of structure. He didn’t just preach to crowds; He built a structure — the apostles — “And He ordained twelve, that they should be with Him, and that He might send them forth to preach.” (Mark 3:14). These men became the pillars that carried the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Beloved, if you don’t build solid structures in your spiritual walk, your career, your relationships with God and with men, you will have nothing to hold you up when the winds of life blow. Jesus said, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock… and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.” (Matthew 7:24-25)

What is your life built upon?
Is your vision resting on mere wishes or on the solid structure of wisdom, discipline, prayer, and obedience?

May the Lord grant you grace to build wisely, to lay solid structures by His word, and to become a vessel whose vision will not collapse but stand the test of time — to the glory of God.

“If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3)
Build your foundations strong. Build your structure firm. Then your future will stand.
