PRESS STATEMENT

A HEART OF GRATITUDE, A SPIRIT OF SERVICE

With deepest humility and profound appreciation, I extend my heartfelt thanks to His Excellency, the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, for the rare and honourable opportunity he granted me to serve as the Special Adviser on Oil and Gas.

It has been one of the highest privileges of my public life to be part of this administration to contribute my little best. It has not just helped me to contribute but to learn. 

For the past eight months, I served not just in a political office, but at the very core of a sector that is pivotal to our state’s economic destiny.

Every task I was entrusted with was approached with strong passion to deliver , and a fierce devotion to duty. And though the journey had its challenges, it was also rich in learning, purpose and meaning. We planted seeds. We built bridges. And we laid foundations that, by God’s grace, will bloom into lasting transformation.

I step aside from this role not with sadness, but with satisfaction. Not with bitterness, but with blessings. I carry forward the lessons of leadership, the value of teamwork, and a renewed determination to remain a dedicated steward of Edo’s progress.

To His Excellency and the entire government team, I say thank you. Thank you for your trust, your support, and your encouragement. The experience has not only strengthened my faith in public service but deepened my love for our great state.

I also reaffirm, without hesitation, my unwavering loyalty to our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). I remain a proud and devoted party man, and steadfast in my commitment to its ideals For me, politics has never been a quest for self aggrandizement , but a calling to serve with purpose.

As always, I remain a humble son of Edo, a servant of the people, and a believer in the brighter days ahead, guided by faith, driven by hope, and anchored in service.
