IN JUST A YEAR: AMAZING PROGRESS SO FAR
Governor Monday Okpebholo's administration has made significant strides in Edo State, delivering practical and visible results across various sectors within just one year. The state has seen over 6,000 teachers employed and more than 60 schools renovated, strengthening the foundation of education.
The health sector has also witnessed significant improvements, with over 60 primary healthcare centers revamped across all 18 Local Government Areas, backed by the
recruitment of over 1,000 healthcare workers.
This initiative has improved healthcare delivery, making quality medical services more accessible to the people of Edo State.
Infrastructure development is another area where the Governor's administration has made notable progress.
With over 250km of road projects across the three senatorial districts and two new flyover bridges rising in Edo South, the state's transportation network is getting a major overhaul. These projects will not only ease traffic congestion but also boost economic activity.
Security has been a top priority for the Governor's administration, and the results are evident. The purchase of over 60 operational vehicles and the reorganization of the State Security Corps, including the hiring and training of 2,000 personnel, have significantly improved security in the state.
The Governor's Practical Governance approach has been the driving force behind these achievements. Focused, decisive, and result-driven, this approach has ensured that the state's resources are utilized effectively to deliver tangible results. As the Governor himself said, "A New Edo Has Risen."
