BUILDING PARTNERSHIPS THAT MAKE US ALL STRONGER

Today, the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) donated five dumpsters to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH). This gesture is truly encouraging—not just because of the items donated, but because of what the act itself represents.

At UBTH, we firmly believe that meaningful progress is rooted in strong, purposeful relationships. Over the years, we have continued to provide premium healthcare services to BEDC staff, and within their operational jurisdiction, they have consistently supported our hospital through reliable power distribution. Yesterday’s donation serves as a powerful reminder that mutual respect and collaboration always yield outcomes that benefit everyone.

In my first 100 days as CMD, partnership-building has been a strategic priority, because no institution can thrive in isolation. When we work together, when we acknowledge each other’s strengths, and when we commit to shared goals,

the impact is deeper, wider, and more enduring.

I sincerely appreciate BEDC for this thoughtful act of goodwill. It strengthens our resolve to keep advancing, keep collaborating, and keep serving our community with excellence.
