EDO STATE TARGET OF 2.5 MILLION VOTES FOR OUR PRESIDENT ASIWAJU ~NOT A MIRAGE but A REALITY

 

 

*2.5M votes as promised by our governor , His Excellency, senator Monday Okpebholo, is REALISTIC. It is unquestionably POSSIBLE . It is NOT a MIRAGE nor a MYTH. But we must be able to reconditioned the minds of the voters to see winning elections as the only guarantee to getting government support for POSITIONS , SOCIAL AMENITIES and INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT. Rather than making the electorates feel that SCAVENGING AROUND PARTY OFFICES or GOVERNMENT HOUSE for CONNECTIONS , is what GUARANTEES elective positions*.

His Excellency SENATOR MONDAY OKPEBHOLO is LOOKING for those who CAN DELIVER THEIR VARIOUS UNITS, COMMUNITIES and WARDS. Not political "CONNECTORS" or "CONNECTEES". 

If political elective seats are for those who were able to deliver their wards for APC during the last governorship election, then all our problems of getting 2.5M votes are half solved. Because you would have set a precedence of competition for everyone to deliver his polling units, communities and wards which will be seen as the only gateway to positions.

But a situation where political connections now SUPERCEDES the winning votes, it portends a great political danger. It is a propinquity to an avalanche of political cataclysm. It will be a DISINCENTIVES to those who worked hard to WIN VOTES.

 

 The greatest investment you can give to a PARTY is to win votes for the party.

 To be able to realize this inestimable goal of 2.5M votes, each unit and ward must be so challenged by the party that winning elections is their only guarantor.
