Pursuant to the reelection bid of the pragmatic and excellent federal lawmaker representing the good people of Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Chief Dr Billy Adesuwa Osawaru, an Uhunmwode LGA campaign council made up of veteran grassroots politicians and eminent leaders was recently inagurated.
The team is saddled with the responsibility of galvanizing support for Hon. Osawaru ahead of the forthcoming National Assembly primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The inauguration, which drew key stakeholders, party actors, and grassroots leaders, is seen as a strategic step toward strengthening political coordination, enhancing mobilization, and consolidating support across the ten wards of the local government.
The Local Government Campaign Council members are as follows:

2. Mr. Godfrey Ogiemade – Secretary General
3. Engr. Sammy Osarenmwinda Ajayi – Head of Media and strategic Communication
4. Mrs. Rebecca Idahosa – Head of Women Mobilization

6. Agbama Napoleon Jr. – Head of Youth Mobilization
7. Hon. Fred Emokpae – Planning and Strategy
8. Prince. Ohenhen Rino – Head of Security.
Also, In a move to deepen grassroots engagement, Ward Coordinators were also inaugurated across the ten wards of the local government. The Ward Coordinators are as follows:
