Empowerment, Jobs, and Human Capital Development: Hon. Osawaru Delivers On His Campaign Promises

 

Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Adesuwa Famous Osawaru believes that human empowerment is an investment in dignity, the future, and generational sustenance, not charity. 

In less than three years in office as the member representing Orhionmwon Uhunmwode federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Hundreds of market women have received trading grants to boost their enterprise.

Additionally, in his series of empowerment programs, he has distributed economic materials, equipment, and items such as mini buses, motorcycles, sewing machines, grinding machines, generators, welding machines, and agro-based tricycles to drivers, artisans, and farmers to promote self-sufficiency and economic independence.

Farmers in the constituency have also benefited from fertilizer and farm inputs distribution to boost productivity, while youths have gained the requisite skills needed in the fast-changing world through ICT training complete with the distribution of brand-new HP laptops.

Hon. Osawaru has also promoted talent realization and advancement through sports development. From sponsoring, supporting, and organizing sporting events, He has given a platform for talent to thrive and created an avenue for talent scouts to spot potential future stars.

The proud Benin chief has also facilitated international/local scholarships for qualified undergraduate and postgraduate students of Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode origin.

Above all, unlike the old order of stomach infrastructure and tokenism, Hon. Osawaru has facilitated job placements for constituents in federal and state ministries, departments, and agencies, including the paramilitary services, creating pathways to sustainable livelihoods and independence.
