“It Is Your Turn, POI: A Call for Trusted Leadership and Purposeful Representation in Edo South”

Speaking in support of Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Hon. Samson Osagie described him as a leader who has consistently stood by many in their political journeys, offering support both in the past and in recent times.

He noted that despite not holding any political office for about 19 years since serving as Secretary to the Edo State Government, Pastor Ize-Iyamu has remained a strong and influential figure within the political landscape—an indication of his relevance, experience, and enduring grassroots connection.

Hon. Osagie therefore joined in appealing to leaders and stakeholders in Uhunmwonde to support Pastor Ize-Iyamu’s candidacy, describing him as a trusted and capable leader who can provide purposeful representation in the Senate.

Drawing from his own experience in the National Assembly, he emphasized that effective representation goes beyond occupying a seat; it requires strong networks, influence, and the ability to attract meaningful development. According to him, Pastor Ize-Iyamu possesses these qualities in abundance.

He concluded by stating that Pastor Ize-Iyamu is well deserving of the mandate and should be supported as the sole candidate for Edo South, assuring him of collective backing as he steps forward to serve.

In concluding - Rt. Hon. Samson Osagie pointed to POI and said “It is your turn, and we will sup

port you.”
