Two separate winners have claimed victory following the election held across the 77 wards of Edo South's seven local government areas:

1. The Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama DeclarationMohammed Kabiru Ajana, serving as a chairman within the primary election setup, released results showing that Hon. Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama secured a massive victory. According to this official broadcast, the figures were:

- Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama: 27,154 votes

- Senator Neda Imasuen (Incumbent): 13,580 votes

- Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu: 6,785 votes

2 . ⁠The Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu DeclarationIn a dramatic twist, the Chief Returning Officer, Abubakar Muhammad Kabiru, announced a completely different set of parallel figures, declaring Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu as the duly elected candidate. According to this secondary declaration, the figures stood at:

- Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu: 33,399 votes

- Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama: 12,560 votes

- Senator Neda Imasuen: 5,107 votes
