HON. OSAWARU'S SALLAH MESSAGE TO THE MUSLIM UMMAH IN EDO STATE, AND BEYOND
Dear Muslim Ummah,
As the blessed occasion of Eid-el Kabir graces us again, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes to all of you. This sacred festival, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is a time for reflection, gratitude, and deepening the bonds of our interhuman relationships and family.
Eid-el Kabir is a reminder of the values that unite us; faith, obedience, and the spirit of giving. It commemorates the devotion of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), who exemplified selflessness and utmost trust in Divinity. On this day, as we gather with our loved ones to partake in prayers, share festive meals, and celebrate our blessings, let us also remember those less fortunate.
The tradition of sacrifice during Eid al-Adha holds special significance, not just in the act itself, but in the message it conveys about compassion and sharing. May we extend our hands to those in need and embody the spirit of generosity, ensuring everyone in our community experiences the joy of this auspicious occasion.
To all my Muslim brothers and sisters, especially in Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode federal constituency, of Edo State, I wish you joyous Eid Mubarak.
Let this Eid be filled with love, peace, and happiness, and may Almighty Allah accept your prayers, supplications, and sacrifices.
Eid Mubarak!
Warm regards,
E-Signed,
*Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Famous Adesuwa Osawaru*
Member, House of Representatives, Orhionmwon Uhunmwode federal constituency.
