Orhionmwon APC Leaders, Executives Endorse Amb. Terry Igiebor as Consensus Candidate for Orhionmwon South Constituency - Mega House Tv || May 8, 2026

 

Leaders and executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Orhionmwon Local Government Area have unanimously endorsed Amb. Terry Igiebor as the party’s sole candidate for the Orhionmwon South Constituency seat.

The endorsement was made during a well-attended stakeholders’ meeting convened by the Chairman of the APC in Orhionmwon and the Leader of the Local Government, Rt. Hon. Patrick Aisowieren. The gathering had in attendance Ward Chairmen, Secretaries, Women Leaders, Youth Leaders, party elders and other critical stakeholders across various wards of the constituency.

Speaking during the meeting, the party leaders described all aspirants for the position as competent mobilizers and resourceful party men, adding that there must be a specific flag bearer in every contest, hence the adoption of Amb. Terry Igiebor whom the leaders have chosen to fly the party’s ticket. They further described Igiebor as a competent, humble and loyal party man whose commitment to grassroots development and unity within the APC made him the preferred choice for the constituency.

The local government party executives including the Ward chairmen and other executives however noted that the endorsement was reached after wide consultations among stakeholders and leaders across the various wards in Orhionmwon South.

On his part, the APC Chairman stated that the endorsement reflected the collective decision of the party leadership and faithful in the local government, stressing that the move was aimed at ensuring unity, progress and victory for the party in the forthcoming election.

Rt. Hon. Patrick Aisowieren also commended party members for their maturity and unity of purpose, urging all stakeholders to rally behind the consensus candidate in the interest of the constituency and the party.

Responding to the endorsement, Amb. Terry Igiebor expressed appreciation to the party leadership and supporters for the confidence reposed in him. He pledged to justify the trust by remaining committed to the ideals of the APC and working towards the development and progress of Orhionmwon South Constituency.

He further assured party faithful that he would run an inclusive representation anchored on effective leadership, youth empowerment, infrastructural development and people-oriented legislation if elected.
