SUCCESS WITHOUT COMPASSION IS DANGEROUS: A MESSAGE TO EMPLOYERS, LEADERS, AND THOSE ENTRUSTED WITH HUMAN LIVES

May 19 was my birthday, and after some careful reflection, one thing that kept coming strongly into my heart was the reason many people remain stagnant in life. I have come to realize that in many cases, it is not necessarily a result of laziness or lack of effort. One of the messages God continually places in my heart is about the reward system of those we work and labor for weather Government,Ministry or Private. Though there are good people among us—those who genuinely value hard work and, when you cross paths with them, your life can experience transformation within a short period of time—they are unfortunately few. The painful reality is that many prefer to keep people beneath them, trapped in struggle, torture, and torment, withholding opportunities, rewards, and the dignity that labor deserves. A society where hard work is not fairly rewarded can silently hold back the growth and destiny of many people.

There is a powerful warning in the Scriptures that should shake every heart, especially those entrusted with the lives and labor of others.

The Bible says in James 5:1–4:

"Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty."

This is not just about money; it is about justice, humanity, and the value God places on people. To withhold what is due to those who have labored faithfully is not simply unfairness — it is a matter God Himself takes personally.

Many workers smile while carrying silent pain. Many cry in secret after giving their strength, time, loyalty, and effort only to be neglected, cheated, or treated without dignity. But Scripture reminds us that every tear, every sigh, and every cry rises before God.

Today I may not yet stand in the position of an employee, but I believe God prepares us with lessons before He places us in our future assignments. The Word of God is teaching me ahead of time that authority is not given for oppression, wealth is not given for exploitation, and leadership is not given to diminish human value.

To employers, leaders, business owners, and all who have people under their care: treat humanity with respect, value, and dignity. Pay people what is due to them. Honor their labor. Appreciate their sacrifices. A delayed reward can create a wounded spirit, but justice brings peace.

Remember these words:

• Colossians 4:1 — "Masters, provide your servants with what is right and fair, because you know that you also have a Master in heaven."

• Proverbs 14:31 — "Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God."

• Galatians 6:7 — "God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows."

May we never become successful at the cost of another person's pain. May our hands be clean, our hearts be compassionate, and our dealings reflect the character of Christ.

Justice may be delayed among men, but Heaven keeps records.
