My Beloved People of Uhunmwode Local Government Area,

I greet you in the name of peace, unity, and the God who holds the future of our land in His hands.

Uhunmwode is not just my local government area of origin—it is the soil that formed me, the people who raised me, and the critical heart of the federal constituency I was prepared to serve. Today, I speak to you as a son, a lawyer, a Christian, and a servant of the public good.

First, let me congratulate all winners across board in the primary elections so far co

nducted. Your emergence is a testament to the trust your wards and communities have placed in you. The primaries are over; the real work begins now. I admonish all of us to lay aside division and work for their success in the general elections. In law, we know that a divided house cannot enforce a judgment. In politics, a divided party cannot deliver victory. 

Healing must come before building. Forgiveness must precede progress. Let us forgive those who have hurt us, reconcile with those we have misunderstood, and recommit ourselves to sincerity and shared purpose. Our strength as Uhunmwode has always been in our unity. It is time to convert that unity into winning—winning for our people, winning for APC, and winning for the development we all deserve.

To our people, I say thank you. Thank you for standing with me when it mattered. Your support was not for a man, but for a vision of a better Uhunmwode. That vision does not die because of one season. It lives in you, and it lives in our collective resolve to move forward together.

I see a resounding future for Uhunmwode Local Government Area. I see roads that connect our villages, schools that inspire our children, markets that empower our mothers, and hospitals that care for our aged. I see a local government where justice is accessible, where youth have skills and jobs, and where no one is left behind.

This future is already taking shape under the leadership of our Governor, Sen. Monday Okpebholo. I commend his deliberate investment in both human capital and infrastructure within Uhunmwode. From roads to education, from health to economic empowerment, his administration is showing that governance can be felt at the grassroots. I admonish us all to work more closely with him, to support his policies, and to pray for his wisdom. A governor who remembers Uhunmwode deserves a people who stand with him.

As I have always said, and it is personal to me:

My people, let us move forward with faith. Let us work with integrity. Let us love one another as Christ has loved us. The work of administration, policy, and community building requires patience, sacrifice, and commitment. But I tell you with conviction: Uhunmwode’s best days are ahead.

Let us go to the general elections united, focused, and ready to win. When Uhunmwode wins, Edo wins. When Uhunmwode rises, our children’s children will rise with us.
