Igbo Progressive Advocacy Movement (I.P.A.M), Edo State Chapter, Pledges Support for Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Adesuwa Osawaru, Celebtates His Birthday.*
A socio-cultural and political ethnic group, The Igbo Progressive Advocacy Movement (I.P.A.M), Edo State Chapter, led by its Chairman, Comr. Magnus Anaele Chukwuma, on Friday 10th July, 2026, hosted the Honourable Member representing Orhionmwon/Uhunmwonde Federal Constituency at the House of Representative, Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Adesuwa Osawaru, in a remarkable gathering that reflected unity, partnership, and grassroots engagement.
Speaking during the meeting, the leadership of the movement emphasized that I.P.A.M. is not merely an association but a movement committed to promoting good governance and sustainable development. They declared their unwavering support for the Honourable Member and pledged to stand firmly with him in his continuous efforts to deliver quality representation to the people of Orhionmwon and Uhunmwonde Federal Constituency.
The group also used the opportunity to appeal to the Honourable Member to facilitate the rehabilitation of the Idunwunowina Road, noting that the road serves as a major link to several communities and requires urgent government intervention to improve transportation, economic activities, and the welfare of residents.
Responding to the request, Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Osawaru assured the igbo community that their concerns have been duly noted and would be communicated through the appropriate government channels for necessary attention. He appreciated the confidence reposed in him and reaffirmed his commitment to responsive and people-oriented representation.
The Honourable Member further encouraged members of the movement and all eligible voters to come out en masse to cast their votes for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship and Councillorship Candidates in the Local Government Elections scheduled to hold on Saturday 11th, July 2026, emphasizing that democracy thrives when citizens actively participate in the electoral process.
The event which reflects Hon. Osawaru's inclusive governance posture, further demonstrated the growing grassroots acceptance of the Proud Benin Chief across ethnic groups in Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode federal constituency and the people's confidence in his purposeful leadership and visionary representation. The meeting which coincided with Hon. Osawaru's birthday anniversary celebration ended on a joyful note as members of the Igbo Progressive Advocacy Movement celebrated the federal Lawmaker with beautiful rendition of Happy birthday songs and offered heartfelt prayers for God's continued protection, wisdom, strength, and greater accomplishments in his service to humanity and the nation.
